A digital menu is an online version of your restaurant's menu that guests open on their own device — usually by scanning a QR code. It organises your offerings into categories and items with photos, prices, allergens and dietary tags, and it can be updated at any time without reprinting.
Each menu has a unique public URL that opens without login, intended to be linked from a QR code on tables, signage or packaging. Guests simply scan it with their phone camera and the menu opens instantly in their browser — no app download required.
The package is built around four entities: Menus (the top-level container, each with its own URL), Categories (sections like Starters or Desserts), Menu Items (individual dishes with full detail), and Ingredients (a shared library that can be attached to any item and optionally flagged as allergens).
Yes. Update items, prices and availability instantly from the Menu Builder — changes go live without reprinting anything. The customer preview updates as you type, and the public menu reflects your latest changes immediately.
Yes. Each item supports a photo, one or more prices (with optional size/portion labels), ingredients, allergens, dietary tags (Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free, Spicy and more) and calories. Active tags and allergens appear as badges on the public menu.
Yes. A restaurant can have multiple menus — for example Breakfast, Lunch and Drinks — each with its own public URL. The number of menus you can create depends on the Restaurant Menu quantity in your subscription plan.
Toggle the item's availability off. Unavailable items remain visible in the editor (marked with an off badge) but are hidden from guests on the public menu. The same applies to categories — only active categories are shown to guests.
The ingredients library is a shared list of ingredients you can attach to any item. Each ingredient can be flagged as an allergen, which then applies across every menu where it is used. Ingredients created on the fly while editing an item are saved to the library automatically for reuse.
Yes. On the public menu, item images open in a lightbox and videos play automatically, giving guests a rich preview of your dishes alongside descriptions, prices and dietary information.
Yes. Your live menu can be embedded as a snapshot in the Digital Signage package, so a screen in your venue always shows your latest items and prices — kept in sync with the same menu guests scan.
