Digital signage is a way to display content — images, videos, menus, promotions, weather and announcements — on screens managed from a central dashboard. Instead of printing and replacing posters, you update everything digitally and changes appear on your screens automatically.
Digital signage runs in an Android environment. If your screen has access to the Google Play Store — or you are using an Android TV — just download our app, "Suite Codeehut Signage", from the store and use it to connect the screen to the platform.
Whenever you save changes in the dashboard, every connected screen refreshes its content automatically within a few seconds — no reload or restart needed. As a fallback, each display also re-fetches its content once per hour.
Each screen rotates through snapshots that can be full-screen images, videos, a live restaurant menu, or an external web page / stream by URL. YouTube and TikTok links are embedded automatically. You can also enrich the display with your logo, a live weather widget, the current time and a scannable QR code.
Yes. Every snapshot has a display duration set in minutes and seconds (10 seconds by default), and you can reorder snapshots with the up/down buttons. Snapshots set to inactive stay in the editor but are skipped on the public display.
Yes. Each instance has an orientation setting — Landscape for TVs and monitors, or Portrait for vertically mounted screens. The layout, including the info sidebar, adapts automatically to the orientation you choose.
Yes. A snapshot can embed a live menu from the Restaurant Menu package. The menu board on screen always reflects your latest items and prices — update the menu once and every screen showing it stays in sync.
The number of signage instances you can create depends on the Digital Signage quantity in your subscription plan. You can adjust the quantity at any time from your profile as your needs grow.
Content is delivered to your paired screens, and each instance also has a no-login public URL. Only active instances and active snapshots are shown — anything set to inactive is hidden from the display.
No. Once the Suite Codeehut Signage app is paired to a screen (or the display URL is open in a browser), the screen runs on its own and stays up to date through real-time and hourly refreshes. You only use the dashboard when you want to change what is shown.
